I Accepted!

Today I called D.C. to accept my invitation. Mark was very nice (I've been warned that the D.C. people may not always be pleasant) and walked me through the next steps.

Despite the fact I already have a passport I need a temporary Peace Corps passport, and also two Zambian visas. These forms need to be Fed-Exed by next Monday. I also need to get an updated (and very skill-detailed) resume and aspiration letter emailed to the Zambian desk in the D.C. PC office by next Monday.

After that I get a couple weeks to get a list together of stuff I will need to pack. The PC has a rough list included in the Invitation Kit of packing suggestions, which is a great relief.
