the meaning of... blog

Hopefully I have this journal set up so that a couple people will be able to update my blog when I am able to get a letter home. With any luck, this journal will help my family and friends know where I am and what I am doing. If I'm very lucky I will be able to find internet access once-in-a-while and send posts myself.
